Effective 9/1/25: Stanford University 'A' permit pricing for Hospital Staff increases to $155/month or $22/day. The ‘A’ parking permit is available for all Stanford Health Care (SHC) and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (LPCH) employees, regardless of hire date.

Effective 1/1/26: eligibility for ‘C’ parking permits will be expanded to include all staff hired before 1/1/23. Until 1/1/26, Stanford Health Care & Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital employees hired before 1/1/2019 are eligible for ‘C’ parking permits. Stanford University 'C' permit pricing for Hospital Staff is $45/month or $8/day. Residents/fellows are excluded from the hire date restriction because they are part of educational program rotation. This means all residents/fellows are eligible to purchase an ‘A’ or ‘C’ parking permit.

Effective 1/1/26: 'Z’ parking permits will no longer be available for purchase. Stock Farm Garage ‘Z’ parking permit spaces will be converted to ‘C’ parking permit spaces. Hoover Pavilion Garage ‘Z’ parking permit spaces will be converted to Hoover Garage Permit spaces. Until 1/1/26: SHC & LPCH employees hired after 1/1/2019, and sponsored independent contractors are eligible for ‘Z’ permit. Stanford University 'Z' permit pricing for Hospital Staff is $45/month or $8/day.

Effective 1/1/26: SHC & LPCH staff hired after 1/1/23 are eligible for Hoover Garage Permits at a rate of $8/day or $45/month. A carpool program is available for free or discounted parking.

Stanford Health Care staff are able to buy daily permits for 500P – Pasteur Staff Garage for $15/day
